The Torino is an often forgotten and overlooked stalwart of the Ford Performance arsenal with noteworthy racing Torinos in NASCAR, especially! This 71 Torino GT is finished in a striking Pewter Metallic over – claimed original – tan vinyl interior. The color complements the low sweeping body lines well. The tan vinyl interior is rip free and presents like near new. The factory gauges are all there although only the in-dash fuel and speedo are working. however under the dash is a complement of Autometer gauges including a water, oil pressure and tachometer gauges. The dash cap is crash free and the original seat belts are present and accounted for as well.

Under the hood is a 351 cu-in, Cleveland V8 rated at 285 horsepower and 370 lb-ft of torque topped with a 750 CFM Brawler Street carburetor. Long tube headers and custom exhaust allow for a serious bark! Power is put to the ground though a C6 three-speed automatic sending power to the rear wheels with via 3:73:1 gears. The staggered 17″ front and 20″ rear Black and chrome American Racing wheels are wrapped in BFGoodrich G-Force Sport tires to ensure this car had plenty of grip whether launching from a light or shooting around the curves. When it’s time to wind the party down, powered brakes consisting of disk up front and drums in the rear haul this Torino GT down. The body and trim -including the floors and trunk pan – are in great shape and there’s no rust. With the seller reporting rust repair completed before fresh pain was applied in 2023. Speaking of repairs; the list consist of: New dashboard (2023) Fresh paint (2023) tires (2019) New master cylinder (2017) Fan shroud repaired (2017) New brake pressure differential valve (2017) New chrome exhaust tips (2016) New weather stripping (2015) Bumpers re-chromed (2014) ignition control module (2014) heater core and hoses (2014) New headliner (2014) Leaf springs in rear (2013) and a New water pump (2013).
